MUSIC
HANNAH IDA
HANNAH IDA was born and raised in Luxembourg, where she has also gathered most of her live experience. With the help of her gentle, yet expressive voice, various retro synthesizers, her beloved omnichord, the cello, guitar and field recordings, she creates beautifully melancholic songs, full of meaning and intimate sensibility.
A central aspect of her work lies in observing and displaying contemporary conflicts, as well as the simple beauties of life.
Since 2021, the young artist has been living, studying and working in Vienna (AT), where she has been able to establish and develop her live set in venues such as Kramladen, Area Wien, Rhiz or at the Lighthouse Festival (Bad Gastein).
With her constantly evolving live set, the musician has already performed at festivals and venues such as: „, Food for your senses” (LU), “screaming fields festival” (LU), “congés annulés” (LU), Rotondes (LU), Neimënster (LU), “The lighthouse
Festival” (AT), Pop-Fest Wien (AT), Europäische Kunstakademie (DE), De Gudde Wëllen (LU), Den Atelier (LU), Rockhal (LU) and Kramladen (AT).
She has also had the opportunity to support international artists such as José Gonzales (SE), MONO (JPN) Agnes Obel (SE), OSKA (AT) and the Ratboys (CA) as a support act.
Over the years, Hannah Ida has discovered her love for stripped down performances, experimenting with guitar, cello, voice, arpeggiator sounds and unusual retro synthesizers. Hannah Ida hereby still loves rummaging for instruments with unconventional sounds.
Just like her, these instruments feel the urge to tell their stories…..
